Catherine Pompeï is part of our team of Senior Advisors. They support the firm in its strategic positioning and contribute to the development of new offers and the strengthening of the network.
Professional Experience
Catherine Pompeï brings a unique triple expertise to her career. She began with 10 years in Human Resources, focusing on recruitment, training, and talent development at Accor, in consulting company and then at Gestetner (a photocopier manufacturing company). She then spent 12 years in Customer Marketing and Business Development leadership roles at Bull Europe and in consulting, where she consistently led HR advisory and transformation projects designed to instill a customer-centric culture within top management teams.
Passionate about individual support—a commitment she upheld voluntarily since 1990—she decided in 1996 to fully dedicate her dual expertise in marketing and HR/coaching to guiding senior executives, whether in transition or in active roles.
In 2005, she created and trademarked the concept of “activeplacement” (as opposed to traditional “outplacement”) to reflect her proactive, mobilizing approach to career transition. She trained in coaching at Paris 8 University and, in parallel, founded Active RH Conseil, a firm specialized in executive support, coaching, and assessment.
In 2018, she sold her company to the Alixio Group and contributed for several years to the growth of Alixio Activ. As of 2025, Catherine Pompeï has chosen to bring her expertise in recruitment, coaching, and assessment to Progress Associés as a Senior Advisor.
