Jean-Philippe Demaël joined Progress Associés in 2021 to support its growth, strengthen the development of its leadership consulting services and broadened its business development opportunities. In partnership with Viavoice, he led the launch of the Observatoire du Succès (Success Observatory) (www.observatoiredusucces.com).
Jean-Philippe Demaël served as Chairman of Progress Associés until 2026, when he was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Precia Molen. He currently serves as Partner and Board Member.
Jean-Philippe Demaël began his career in the French civil service, specifically the Department of Industry, Research and the Environment, before becoming Chief of Staff for the Director General for Industry.
In 1998 he transitioned into the manufacturing industry, at Arcelor Mittal, taking on the role of Managing Director for Automotive Stainless Europe, then CEO for Acesita (Aperam Brazil).
Then, from 2008 to 2016, he worked as Managing Director and then Chair of the Executive Board at Somfy.
He is the founder and Chairman of Horizons Altitude, a strategic consulting firm, and of Double Mixte, a company specialising in the career transition of elite athletes and their placement within corporations.
Jean-Philippe Demaël graduated from École Polytechnique and Engineer General of the “Corps des Mines”.
