Professional Experience

Sandrine Lemery is a senior civil servant from the French Corps des Mines and a certified actuary, with an exceptional career at the intersection of public service and the financial sector. Currently on leave from the civil service, she holds several non-executive roles in finance. She chairs the Supervisory Board of the French Pension Reserve Fund (FRR). She is Chair of the Risk Committee of the Crédit Coopératif Group and of the the Risk and Audit Committees of Union Financière de France (Aéma Group). She also serves as an external member of the Audit and Risk Committee at MAIF. Additionally, she is a Senior Advisor at Nemrod Partenaires, an M&A advisory firm.

Prior to 2022, Sandrine pursued a career in French civil service, structured around three key areas:

  • Financial regulation
  • Economic and social policy advisory
  • Higher education.

She notably held the Chair of Actuarial Science at CNAM (2020–2022), was a member of the General Council for the Economy (2019–2020), and served as the first Secretary General of the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR, 2013–2018). Earlier roles include Head of Coordination at the Secretariat-General for Public Sector Modernization (2013), Head of the Insurance Supervisory Authority (Corps de contrôle des assurances 2010–2012), Project Manager for the National Alzheimer’s Plan (2008–2012), and Technical Advisor on pensions to the Minister of Employment and Solidarity (2001–2002).
