Professional Experience
Engineer of the French “Corps des Mines”, Frédéric Baverez began his career in the French civil service, where he notably served as a rapporteur to the Interministerial Committee for Industrial Restructuring (CIRI) and as a technical advisor to the Secretary of State for Transports, Anne-Marie Idrac.
In 1997, he joined the Suez Group, where he notably served as CEO of SITA Ile-de-France and later, at the group level and reporting to the CEO of Suez, was responsible for procurement as well as cost reduction and performance optimization plans.
In 2005, he joined Keolis Group as part of an LBO, first as Industrial Director. From 2008 onward, he took responsibility for several operational Business Units, including EFFIA following its integration. In January 2014, he was appointed CEO France of Keolis, overseeing all of the group’s activities in France (public transport, parking, patient transport services).
In autumn 2023, he left Keolis to become Executive Chairman of the Atalian Group, an international facility management operator.
In 2025, he left Atalian and developed a senior advisor activity for consulting firms and investment funds, as well as serving as an independent board director.

Frédéric Baverez holds a double degree from Mines ParisTech as a Civil Engineer of Mines and as an Engineer of the French “Corps des Mines”.
